Robyn Rihanna Fenty is a Barbadian singer and also songwriter. Rihanna  born on 20 February 1988 in Saint Michael and raised in Bridgetown. She grew up in 3 bedroom bungalow and sold clothes with her father on street stall. Her father  addicted to cocaine and also alcohol.

Rihanna grew up listening reggae music and she start singing at age of seven. She was military cadet and Shontelle a songwriter and singer was her drill sergeant. Rihanna starts her career in 2003 she formed musical trio with two of her classmates. She first discovered by Evan Rogers. Rihanna records two tracks Pon De Replay and The Last Time finally which is eventually include in her debut Music album Music od Sun.

Rihanna was charted on top 10 of us Billboard in 200 because of A Girl Like me 2006. She made her third album Good Girl Gone Bad in 2007. Her successful lead single Umbrella became international breakthrough in her career. she won her first Grammy Award for Best Rap/Dung Collaboration in 2008. Then She released her 4th album Unapologetic in 2012. Her 8th album in 2016 and its lead single WORK is number one on the Billboard 200 and also on Hot 100.

Many of her singles are World’s Best Selling Singles of all time including Umbrella , Take a Bow , Disturbia, only girl in the world, S&M , we Found Love , Diamonds and Stay. she has won 12 American Music Awards, 8 Grammy Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards, 2 Brit awards and Icon Award in 2013. She ranked 4th most powerful celeb of 2012 and also 100 most influential people in 2016.


On February 8 2009 she  cancelled her performance at 51st Grammy Awards. Because it was reported that her boyfriend Chris Brown Physically assaulted her.
